Two unexplained explosions occurred on Saturday in Jammu city’s Narwal neighbourhood, injuring at least seven people, according to the police.

One of them is undergoing surgery after receiving stomach splinter injuries.Six people were hurt in two bombings at Narwal, assistant director general of police Mukesh Singh had earlier stated.  People with many types of vehicles visit the location for repairs and maintenance, making it a centre of business activity that is constantly active. There are numerous tyre, spare parts, junk, and auto accessory stores there.  Two automobiles in Transport Nagar’s yard number 7 are said to have been the source of the explosions. We are looking into the types of explosions, a senior police officer stated.  Police officers arrived on the scene quickly after the explosions and immediately roped off the area.  Locals and store owners hurried the injured to the hospital.Five days before the Republic Day festivities and during a time of increased alert due to Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra, the explosions took place.It should be noted that on January 1 and 2, two consecutive terrorist strikes in the Rajouri district resulted in the deaths of seven Hindus.  Four heavily armed terrorists were killed on December 28 at Sidhra, about 11 km from Narwal, in a chance encounter with security personnel. The terrorists had entered Kashmir in a truck from Pakistan.  Terrorist activity has increased in recent months in the Jammu region.  The security grid in Jammu and Kashmir would be made impregnable over the next three months, according to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who made the announcement on January 14 while visiting Jammu. What’s your thought on the incident?
