At KIWG 2023, Alpine skiing, curling, bobsleigh, skeleton, snowshoe, Nordic skiing, snowboarding, ski mountaineering, ice skating, ice hockey, and bandy will be featured.
Eklavaya has also won a National medal in short track ice skating for the last seven years in a row. Eklavya has also represented India in a number of international ice skating competitions.
Eklvaya won a bronze medal at the SEA (South East Asia) Open Trophy in Singapore in January 2020. Eklavya finished third in the 500m final under midgets age group at the 2018 Australian Open Short Track Speed Skating Championships at O’Brien Group Arena Docklands in Melbourne, Australia, in October 2018.
Eklavya is preparing to compete in the Youth Olympics in 2024 and the Winter Olympics in 2026, and he has been working hard both on and off the ice to achieve his goal. He gets up at 4.30 a.m. every day for morning fitness training, which includes running 7-8 kilometers, a static and dynamic workout, and skating practice.
