In the best interests of investors, the bench, which is made up of Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud, Justices P S Narasimha, and J B Pardiwala, stated that it wishes to retain complete openness.
    The bench declared, We will not accept your suggestion of a sealed cover because we want to keep complete transparency. The court also postponed making a decision regarding the creation of a committee to look into the matter. The bench declared that it would not accept advice from the administration orpetitions on the committee’s membership, but it would choose its own specialists.

    In response to the share price crash in the Adani Group stocks, which was precipitated by a report by Hindenburg Group over allegations of stock manipulation, the Center on Monday had accepted the apex court’s proposal to establish a panel of experts to examine strengthening the regulatory mechanisms for the stock market. Nonetheless, the Adani group has denied any wrongdoing.
    The SC had said it was thinking aloud on whether a committee of experts could be formed to provide suggestions for potential modifications to the regulatory process on the last date of hearing after hearing two pleas that had been submitted.
