AEL experienced an intraday decline of 8.05 percent, reaching Rs 1,722.85 on the BSE. The stock price declined 7.25% at the close.
Four Adani Group companies’ stocks struck the lower limit circuit in the meantime. Adani Transmission was trading 5% lower at Rs 901.55, while Adani Power was down 4.99% to trade at Rs 204.75 on the BSE. Furthermore, Adani Total Gas fell by 5% to trade at Rs. 947.80, while NDTV was trading at Rs. 211.05, down 5%.
On the other side, Adani Ports closed 3.93 percent lower as the stock was also among today’s top losers. Adani Wilmar dropped 4.96 percent, while Adani Green finished 1.55 percent lower.

Cement equities from the Adani Group also had negative trading today, with ACC plunging 1.78 percent to Rs 1738.55 and Ambuja Cement dropping 3.94 percent to settle at Rs 353.35 on the BSE.

The equities of Adani Transmission, Adani Total Gas, Adani Power, and Adani Green Energy were stuck at the upper limit on Monday while AEL and other group stocks had ended the session in the red.
