Born in 1921, Mahindra was a product of India’s pre-independence era and witnessed the country’s transformation from a colonial economy to a vibrant democracy. He was a strong advocate of education and believed that it was the key to India’s development. Throughout his life, he supported various educational institutions and initiatives, including the K.C. Mahindra Education Trust, which he founded in memory of his father.
