Mr. Kohli admitted to the Level 1 offence under Article 2.2 of the IPL Code of Conduct, the statement went on to say. While it was not specifically mentioned in the advisory, the fine was most likely imposed as a result of Kohli’s aggressive celebrations following CSK batter Shivam Dube’s dismissal.
Dube scored 52 runs in 26 balls before being bowled out by RCB fast bowler Wayne Parnell. After his celebrations and subsequent on-field spat with Kolkata Knight Riders skipper Nitish Rana, Mumbai Indians spinner Hrithik Shokeen received a similar fine.
Devon Conway smashed 83 off 45 deliveries on Monday, while Shivam Dube blazed away to a 27-ball 52 as CSK posted an impressive 226 for six after being asked to bat first.

In response, RCB finished on 218 for eight. Faf du Plessis (62 off 33 balls) and Glenn Maxwell (76 off 36 balls) gave CSK a scare until they arrived at the crease, sharing 126 runs for the third wicket to raise hopes of a famous win.
