Since Elon Musk took over Twitter, the platform has undergone a number of changes. Musk previously stated that the only way to keep the verified Blue Tick Mark on profiles is to subscribe to Twitter Blue. However, it appears that Dhoni, Rohit, and Kohli, among other Twitter users, have not done so.
Twitter announced a few weeks ago that it would begin removing the Legacy Blue Checkmarks from profiles because it wants people to pay for verification ticks that were previously allotted in a different manner.
Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, Sharma, and a number of other cricketing legends were still making progress with their respective Legacy Blue Checkmarks. As a result, they all lost the Blue Ticks on Friday morning.
What exactly is Twitter Blue?Twitter Blue is a paid service provided by Elon Musk’s company. It not only provides verified checkmarks on profiles upon subscription, but it also includes a few other advantages.

Twitter Blue is now available on both iOS and Android devices, as well as through Twitter’s website. The monthly subscription fee for iOS and Android users in India is Rs 900, while the fee for web users is Rs 650.
Users can also subscribe to the premium service for Rs 6,800 per year, which works out to Rs 566 per month. This plan, however, is only available online. Twitter Blue is available in the United States for $11 per month on Android and iOS devices, and $8 on the web. In the United States, the annual plan costs $84 per year.

Prior to the launch of Twitter Blue, the blue tick was assigned to authentic accounts of celebrities, politicians, journalists, and public figures. Anyone who pays the subscription fee can now purchase the checkmark.
Twitter Blue subscribers will also have early access to features such as edit tweet, bookmark folders, custom app icons, and NFT profile pictures, in addition to the blue tick. Such users will also be able to select different colour themes for their app, prioritise their tweet replies, and undo a tweet before it is visible to other users.

Twitter Blue subscribers have a character limit of 4,000, whereas other users have a character limit of 280. Users with a paid subscription can also upload longer videos of up to 60 minutes in length and up to 2 GB in size.
