In a recent development for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2023, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have named Johnson Charles as a replacement for Litton Das in their squad.
Charles, who hails from the West Indies, is an explosive top-order batsman known for his hard-hitting skills. He has previously played for the likes of St Lucia Kings in the Caribbean Premier League and Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League.
Litton Das, who was originally part of KKR’s squad, had to withdraw due to personal reasons, leading to the franchise bringing in Charles as his replacement.
