In the latest news from the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batsman Ruturaj Gaikwad has expressed his team’s willingness to play on any surface during the upcoming season.
Gaikwad, who had a breakout season in IPL 2021, stated in a recent interview, We would like to play on any surface. Our team has always been adaptable and we have players who can perform on any type of pitch.The 24-year-old opener further added, As a team, we are not worried about conditions. Our focus is to play good cricket and win matches.
CSK had a successful IPL 2021 campaign, finishing as the runners-up after losing to Kolkata Knight Riders in the final. Gaikwad played a crucial role in the team’s journey, scoring 635 runs in 16 matches with an average of 45.35.
