Young Rajasthan Royals batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal has beaten the likes of Sanju Samson, Shubman Gill, and Prithvi Shaw to become the youngest batsman to score a half-century in the IPL. Jaiswal achieved the feat during the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad on 2nd May 2023.
    The 21-year-old left-handed batsman reached the milestone in just 23 balls, scoring 56 runs in total, including 8 fours and 2 sixes. His aggressive approach helped the Rajasthan Royals team to score a mammoth total of 234 runs in the match

    Jaiswal has been in excellent form this season, having already scored two centuries and two half-centuries in the tournament so far. His performances have been a major factor in the Rajasthan Royals’ success this season, with the team currently placed in the top four of the IPL points table.
    Speaking after the match, Jaiswal credited his success to his hard work and the support of his teammates and coaches. He also expressed his gratitude to the fans, who he said had been a constant source of motivation for him throughout the tournament.
    With several matches still to be played in the IPL, Jaiswal will be looking to continue his impressive form and help the Rajasthan Royals secure a place in the playoffs
