In the first leg of the UEFA Champions League Semi-Final match, Real Madrid and Manchester City drew 1-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium in Madrid. The game was closely contested, with both sides creating numerous chances throughout the 90 minutes.The visitors took the lead in the 33rd minute when Raheem Sterling scored after a fine cross from Kevin De Bruyne. However, Real Madrid responded quickly with Karim Benzema scoring a brilliant individual goal in the 40th minute to level the scores.
The second half was just as intense, with both teams pushing for a winner. However, neither side could find the back of the net, and the match ended in a draw.
The result leaves the tie finely poised going into the second leg at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester. Real Madrid will need to score at least one goal to have any chance of progressing to the final, while Manchester City will be looking to secure a win in front of their home fans and reach their first-ever Champions League final.
