Delhi Govt Launches Mission To Improve City Subways

The Delhi government has launched a comprehensive mission aimed at transforming and improving the city’s subways. The initiative, titled Subway Revival Mission, seeks to enhance the safety, cleanliness, and overall experience for commuters utilizing the underground passages across the capital.

Under the mission, the DMRC will conduct a comprehensive assessment of all existing subways in Delhi to identify areas requiring immediate attention. This includes addressing issues such as broken tiles, inadequate lighting, malfunctioning escalators, and ineffective security measures.
Additionally, the mission aims to implement measures to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the subways, making them more visually appealing and welcoming. Plans include the installation of artwork, murals, and signage to create a vibrant and engaging environment for commuters.
