In a significant step towards inclusivity and support for the LGBTQ+ community, Amazon, the global e-commerce giant, has announced the introduction of its Same Gender Partner Coverage Program. The program aims to provide comprehensive healthcare benefits and coverage for same-gender partners of Amazon employees. Deepti Varma, Vice President of People Experience and Technology (PXT) at Amazon, shared insights on this progressive initiative as part of the company’s commitment to diversity and inclusivity during Pride Month.
