    Without a doubt, Balaji is a corrupt minister who was just detained by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with a cash-for-jobs fraud case. The Raj Bhavan was correct when it said that there are reasonable apprehensions that V Senthil Balaji’s continued membership in the Council of Ministers may negatively affect the administration of justice, including a fair inquiry.

    Recently, Punjab, Kerala, and Delhi have also seen these clashes, which inflict a fatal blow to the states’ governments. The perception that the federal government’s governing party is employing governors to settle political scores in states where it is not in power has grown. 
    Such competition goes against the principles of cooperative federalism. Both the Governor and the CM should cooperate in the public good and refrain from exceeding their power because the Constitution clearly outlines their respective duties and responsibilities.
