The role that party president Mallikarjun Kharge appears to have taken on may hold the key. Kharge is not a faceless automaton. The management of the Karnataka election was the litmus test, and there was every indication before the CWC meeting that he had a more significant role than most people had anticipated. It was sufficient evidence that Kharge was a proactive party leader.

Although the Gandhis ultimately control the party, the process of forming the new CWC had also shown two other things: first, that Kharge did indeed have some autonomy, and second, that the new model would be more inclusive than the previous four. Aiming to keep as many interest groups informed as possible, members of the G23 were invited on board.
The CWC was strong on hyperbole; the majority of what was stated during the conference has already been said. Additionally, we were already aware that the party had made the decision to avoid discussions of fundamental and identitarian problems in favor of sticking closely to matters of repression and daily life in order to expose the government. Maybe they needed to be reiterated from the CWC pulpit.
However, the CWC must start the organizational consolidation process right away after the special session of Parliament concludes on September 22. This indicates that generally speaking, it must first renovate its organizational structure from the district level up in major states. However, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana, and Manipur will soon hold assembly elections. In these states, organizational consolidation must be shaped to accommodate electioneering requirements, therefore renovation must start with booth committees. It is a task that must be completed. The CWC must also reveal the schedule for the Bharat Jodo Yatra’s upcoming phase, which might continue the program that changed the game.

A word on the Opposition’s intention to boycott several news networks and anchors before we wrap up. Given Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s virtual press boycott since assuming office and the State-sponsored attacks on journalists and the media that we have witnessed and continue to witness, the BJP has absurdly accused the Congress of restricting press freedom.
A major portion of the electronic media and star anchors are accountable for aiding the ruling party in undermining the democratic process, which is a much more critical issue. They have so undermined the fundamentals of the media as a whole. By bringing them to light, the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (I.N.D.I.A.) has done India a favor, no pun intended.
We have observed the green sprouts; however, the Grand Old Party must carefully tend to them.
