It is critical that laws governing travel agencies and counselling services be tightened similarly in India. An astounding $22 billion is contributed to the Canadian economy each year by international schooling. The goal of the new framework is to compel schools and universities to establish greater standards for assistance, results, and services.
Student visas will be granted first priority to institutions that fulfil the requirements. The actions are also a response to complaints that Canada’s education system is drawing in so many international students that it is placing more strain on the country’s housing and job markets. A review of the postgraduate work permit program is also being conducted to make sure that it is still relevant to the labour market.

In roughly ten years, the number of international students has tripled to over eight lakh. On average, their fees are five times more than those of Canadian students. The primary source of revenue for educational institutions is frequently the fee that they pay. Private colleges and immigration advisors are accused of taking advantage of international students who utilise college entrance as a means of obtaining permanent residency.
Even temporary structures now have an abundance of colleges. Visa applicants have not been discouraged by the possibility of fraud, the onerous requirements for obtaining visas, or even the difficult living conditions in Canada. That speaks volumes about the dearth of educational and career opportunities at home.
