The TMC leader’s parliamentary ID was accessed 49 times from Dubai, according to the IT ministry. This came after an investigation into claims made by BJP MP Nishikant Dubey that Moitra accepted money from Hiranandani in exchange for raising issues with the Adani Group in Parliament.
Moitra has been recommended for expulsion from the Lok Sabha for a significant breach of parliamentary rules by the Lok Sabha Ethics Committee, which is looking into the incident.
