The first round of exams is scheduled to take place in November and December. If any students feel they might have performed better, they can retake the exam in February or March to try again, with the top results being tallied at the end.
This aligns with the National Education Policy, 2020’s planned modifications to the national curriculum structure. One drawback of the current system is anticipated to be mitigated by having two options: the stress and worry brought on by a single, crucial exam.

Many students have been driven to the verge of suicide by this pressure, and some have even committed themselves as a result. Additionally, the CBSE approach aims to prevent children from learning by rote and to thoroughly evaluate their understanding of core academic concepts and abilities.
Another commendable improvement is giving students the freedom to select their subjects instead of limiting them to the conventional streams of science, business, and the humanities. If the goals of this reform of the educational system are met, fair and equitable assessment and evaluation are implemented, and students from disadvantaged backgrounds are placed on an equal footing with their classmates from wealthier backgrounds, the reform of the educational system will have been successful.

In order for the nation to benefit from the demographic dividend, the huge separation between the two groups must be closed. Upon the final transition of the educational framework to a modular system encompassing all classes, a significant number of teenage pupils with inadequate literacy skills in reading, writing, and computers may have their issues addressed.
