The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has initiated the hunt for the next head coach of the Indian men’s national cricket team. With the tenure slated to begin from July 1, 2024, and extend until December 31, 2027, the BCCI aims to find a candidate who can lead the team to glory, particularly eyeing the upcoming 50-over Cricket World Cup scheduled for that year

Following the extension granted to the current head coach Rahul Dravid until June, amidst India’s quest for the ICC Cricket World Cup last year, the BCCI is now in search of a suitable replacement. The application window for the head coach position remains open until May 27, 2024, with the selection process poised to include comprehensive evaluations, personal interviews, and assessments of shortlisted candidates.
