Indian cricketer Kedar Jadhav has officially announced his retirement from all forms of cricket, emulating the understated yet impactful style of MS Dhoni’s retirement. Jadhav made the announcement through a heartfelt Instagram reel, featuring memorable moments from his cricketing journey, set to the poignant song “Zindagi Ke Safar Mein Guzar Jaate Hai Jo Makam.”

    Jadhav’s announcement marks the end of a significant chapter in Indian cricket. Known for his aggressive batting and effective part-time off-spin, Jadhav played 73 One Day Internationals (ODIs) and 122 Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) for India between November 2014 and February 2020. His last appearance for the national team was against New Zealand in an ODI in Auckland

    Expressing his gratitude to fans and supporters, Jadhav wrote on Instagram, “Thank you all for your love and support throughout my career. Consider me retired from all forms of cricket.”

    Jadhav’s career was marked by several significant performances. He debuted for India against Sri Lanka in Ranchi under the captaincy of Virat Kohli. His first century for India came a few months later in an ODI against Zimbabwe.
