In an interview with IndiaToday.in, Sonam revealed, “I am waiting for a good script. Some films I said no to, and then, of late, I have heard from people that many don’t know I live in Mumbai. So they think that since I don’t stay here, I don’t want to work in Hindi films. Having said that, if there is a good script offered to me, I would love to do Hindi films.”

Sonam, who made a cameo appearance in the 2019 film ‘Bala’, left audiences wanting more, but she hasn’t pursued major roles in Bollywood since. She also expressed interest in the South Indian film industry, stating, “I would love to work in South films as well. I had worked there years ago, then came to Punjab and got very busy. But now I feel that the more languages I work in, the better it is for me. I just want to do good work, and whenever it’s meant to be, I would do Hindi films.”
Additionally, Sonam expressed a desire to collaborate with her frequent co-star Ammy Virk in a Hindi film. “I would like to work with Ammy in a Hindi film as well,” she said.
Currently, Sonam is busy promoting her upcoming film ‘Kudi Haryane Val Di,’ co-starring Ammy Virk. The film is set for release on June 14.
