Paradoxically, the Andhra Pradesh State Reorganisation Act, 2014 required the bifurcation of a state created on the basis of language. Problems arise from division invariably, and these issues have not been addressed in ten years. Despite the fact that Reddy leads the Congress and Naidu leads the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), both of which are a component of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government at the Center, they have teamed up to resolve their issues at their first meeting on June 6 in Hyderabad.

The framework for resolving disputes was successfully created during their meeting. Two committees will now be established, one with the chief secretaries of the two states and the other with the relevant ministers. A problem will go to the two chief ministers if these two committees are unable to settle it.

Five border villages that are currently part of Andhra Pradesh were agreed to be merged into Telangana at the very first meeting. This process can only be completed if the Center issues an ordinance. Andhra Pradesh has claimed several territories in Telangana for administrative and other reasons. Not every problem has an easy solution. For example, Telangana has been demanding its part of the power assets that Andhra Pradesh owns, amounting to Rs 24,000 crore.

Another unsolvable problem that requires skillful treatment by both parties is water sharing. Naturally, the division of states has occurred previously.Similar issues arose during the formation of Uttarakhand and Jharkhand, and before throughout the multiple divisions of Assam, and they were settled amicably.

Remember that even though there are many disagreements among governments over the allocation of water resources, court-appointed tribunals have frequently established reasonable solutions. This emphasises that every issue may be handled if it is tackled with an open mind.

Because of the many chances it offers, students are eager to pursue arbitration as a well-organised area of law nowadays.Arbitration principles are universal for all conflicts, and they must be resolved in a way that causes the least amount of inconvenience to the parties involved.
