The much-anticipated event for the upcoming thriller film “Ulajh” turned into a night of glitz, glamour, and electrifying performances. Held in Mumbai, the event saw a star-studded lineup, including the film’s lead actress Janhvi Kapoor, along with Roshan Mathew, Director Sudhanshu Saria, Music Composer Shashwat Sachdev, and the soulful singer Jubin Nautiyal.

The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly Janhvi Kapoor’s mesmerizing dance performance on the song “Shaukan.” The track, which has already become a viral sensation, features the infectious beats and captivating chemistry between Janhvi and her co-star Gulshan Devaiah. As Janhvi performed the hook step of “Shaukan,” the audience was left spellbound by her grace and energy
Adding to the excitement, Jubin Nautiyal’s powerful voice brought the event to life. Known for his soulful renditions, Jubin performed several tracks from the film, including the much-anticipated song “Thoda Galat.” His performance was met with thunderous applause, further elevating the atmosphere of the evening
Director Sudhanshu Saria shared his thoughts on the film and its music, emphasizing the unique blend of genres that “Ulajh” brings to the table. “There is a certain kind of requirement for films like ‘Ulajh.’ The patriotism you are showing onscreen is also important with what the audience is listening to in terms of music. We have collectively tried to create a perfect blend. There are different flavors of music that we have brought together, and the songs are very audience-friendly,” he said.
Music Composer Shashwat Sachdev also spoke about the creative process behind the film’s soundtrack. “Shaukan is something which will be played in clubs and parties; it’s very Gen Z and millennial-friendly, whereas ‘Aae Watan’ is a patriotic song that will cater to audiences of all age groups. I just hope that people love it, and I thank Shashwat, Neha, and Jubin and all the music artists for the magic they have created with their music in the film,” he added.
Janhvi Kapoor, reflecting on her experience working on “Ulajh,” expressed her excitement and gratitude. “I think there’s more than what meets the eye in every aspect of this film after seeing the trailer. ‘Ulajh’ is something definitely unexpected. When you all see the film in theatres on August 2, you’ll feel very different from what is expected. Hopefully, I’m so happy, thrilled, entertained, and excited by what we have worked so hard for. I hope the audience showers love for the film and music,” she said.
The event also featured a pre-listen to Jubin Nautiyal’s upcoming song “Thoda Galat,” which promises to be another hit. The makers played the captivating track “Aaja Oye,” leaving the audience in awe. The evening culminated with Shashwat Sachdev singing the patriotic song “Main Hoon Tera Ae Watan,” adding a touch of national pride to the celebrations
