This stemmed from Praful Patel’s dismissal from the chair and the Supreme Court’s appointment of the Committee of Administrators (COA) to manage the board.The CoA’s authority was abolished by the SC in order to get the suspension removed, and the Acting Secretary of the AIFF was given leadership of the organization’s daily operations. After the elections on September 2nd, an organization’s permanent head will be chosen. Bhaichung Bhutia, the former football captain of India, has submitted his application for the significant position. The Rajasthan and Andra Pradesh Football organizations support Bhutia, who is considered one of the best players in Indian football (FA).Regarding his choice to run for office, Bhutia said that he saw it as the ideal chance to give something back to the sport that has given him so much.
