Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukerji and starring Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy, is set to be released on September 9, 2022. Recently, the producers released a video in which Ranbir, Alia, and Ayan revealed that there will be a fan screening on September 8, 2022. Because 8 is Ranbir’s lucky number, it will be interesting to see how the film is received by fans. This is something that does not happen very often in Bollywood.
We have mostly seen reviews come out, and many moviegoers decide to watch the film based on the reviews. However, before the critics’ reviews, the fans’ reviews will be published. Nowadays, if fans dislike a film, they simply trash it on social media, whereas if they love the film, they lavish praise on it. So, it appears that the honest Brahmastra reviews will be released tonight.Brahmastra’s advance bookings have been extremely positive, and early estimates place the film at a Rs. 30 crore opening. If the film is successful and word of mouth is positive, a Rs. 100 crore weekend is possible.
Aside from a few films like The Kashmir Files, Gangubai Kathiawadi, and Bhool Bhualiyaa 2, none of the biggies have done well at the box office in 2022.
