Today, the project’s creators, Balaji Motion Pictures, released a teaser video for the film. Aside from Ayushmann, the cast includes newcomers Ananya Panday and a slew of other actors. The film is set to be released next year at Eid, on June 29, 2029.

The video begin with an intriguing premise in which Ayushmann is enraged at the current condition in Bollywood. Boycott Bollywood, south vs. north, films not playing in theatres, and other issues are raised in front of the protagonist. The voice of the announcement then comes from behind. The actor appears to be reprising his role as Pooja, with Ananya Panday playing his love interest in the film. Aside from them, veteran performers like Annu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Vijay Raaz, Manoj Joshi, Rajpal Yadav, Seema Pahwa, Manjot Singh, and Abhishek Banerjee are in the cast.
The film will be released on the same day as Salman Khan’s Tiger 3. The film, directed by Maneesh Sharma, also stars Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi in significant parts. Meanwhile, Ayushamann is excited for the release of Doctor G with Rakul Preet next year. Ananya, on the other hand, will co-star in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav.
