After scalping left-handed opener Quinton de Kock, Arshdeep used some incredible swing to get rid of Rilee Rossouw and David Miller for duck.
The Indian seamer was beating the Proteas in the air as he dismissed Rossouw with an outswinger that the batsman nicked, causing him to be caught behind.
If that wasn’t impressive enough, Arshdeep outdid himself by dismissing Miller. With a peach of a delivery that moved in the air into the wicket, the Indian quick castled the attacking South African player.
The Indian innings got off to a shaky start when the hosts lost the prized wickets of skipper Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli for pennies on the dollar. However, KL Rahul and two-down batsman Suryakumar Yadav helped to steady the innings.
Once the two batsmen had settled down, the South African bowlers were unable to breach their defenses, allowing India to cruise to victory, with both batsmen reaching half-centuries.
Yadav continued his fine form with another solid performance, ably supported by Rahul, as India reached the target with eight wickets remaining and took the series lead over the Proteas.
