The second is the human rights issue. As president, Biden has repeatedly taken China to task for human rights abuses against the Uyghur people and other ethnic minorities, crackdowns on democracy activists in Hong Kong, coercive trade practices, military provocations against self-ruled Taiwan, and differences over Russiau2019s prosecution of its war against Ukraine.Relief for the world is that both the country is in no mood to go to any kind of war and president Biden has suggested that China is not looking to invade Taiwan which would be a disaster for the world economy. But who can understand the China mood? How long it would take for Xi Jinping to change his thoughts about invasion ?? Biden and the world should think of that.
