However, he also stated, Only those who are unable to go to Twitter HQ or have a family emergency are exempted.The conflicting signals about returning to work follow a flood of resignations from Twitter workers on Thursday.Their new Chief Twit, as Musk jokingly refers to himself, had delivered an ultimatum the day before, demanding that they commit to his vision for Twitter 2.0 and agree to work long hours at high intensity.Three resigned workers told CNBC that they still had access to several internal Twitter systems on Friday morning.One person speculated that because so many individuals from Twitter’s human resources and IT departments had resigned or been laid off, it would take a long time for the firm to figure out who should be denied access to email, Slack, and other platforms.
