But let me assure you that there is no room for either of them because they are both incredible in their own right. Drishyam 2 is a story about how, seven years after Vijay and his family were accused of murder, the victim’s ashes have not been buried, making it impossible for his mother to rest in peace. After seven years of living a happy and somewhat peaceful life, Salgaonkars believe they have left it all behind, but have they? The case has been reopened, and surprisingly, there is an eyewitness to Vijay’s crime; Meera Deshmukh is also on the lookout, and Gaitonde is all in support of retaliating against this middle-class Goan family. What keeps you on the edge of your seat is how everything comes to a head. And before I tell you what I thought of the film.
