Christian Pulisic leads the USA to the round of 16 at the FIFA World Cup 2022, then is hospitalised

Iran failed to advance in its sixth World Cup campaign, finishing third in the group with three points.McKennie launched the goal-scoring move by lofting the ball to Sergio Dest at the outside of the 6-yard box from just outside the centre circle. Dest headed the ball toward the goal on a bounce as Pulisic raced across the middle of the field, edging out Majid Hosseini and Ramin Rezaeian.For his first World Cup goal and 22nd overall, Pulisic redirected the ball with his right foot while twisting his body. He collided with goalie Alireza Beiranvand due to his velocity.
For almost three minutes, Pulisic lay on the pitch while receiving medical attention. While Pulisic was watching the game on his phone through an app, he attempted to continue playing but was replaced at the start of the second half and taken by Harris Patel, an athletic trainer, for stomach scans at Hamad General Hospital.
