It serves the most premium patients to the ones who wait for hours in queue at the OPDs. It is estimated that the hospital deals with about 10,000 pateints per day including the emergency services.

But all the titles gained by the institute are now highly questioned because of the recent server hack that the institute is currently suffering leaving the data of about 3-4 crore pateints at stake!
The servers reported failure on 23rd of november and are out of control since then. The group of hackers have alleged demanded a distressing amount of 200 crore rupees in the form of crypto currency but no such demand is confirmed by the delhi police or the AIIMS department. There is suspected involvement of china in this act but again no such claims are officially made.
The 2 analysts who were given the duty to look after the server’s security are reportedly suspended for alleged breach of cyber security. A CFSL (central forensic lab) team is been put to work to check the infected serves and sanitise all the networks and systems of the institute.
Meanwhile, the institute is running with manual record takings but the question left with us is, does the national security provides enough assurance to the people having complete faith in it?Comment down below
