First starting with Gujarat where the election has come to an end and various media houses have released their exit poll to predict the election results. It shows in Gujarat that BJP is winning by a clear majority and winning even more seats than in previous elections.
In Gujarat wherein a total of 182 seats are in the state legislature the average sits predicted to be won by BJP is ranging from 129-151. While the congress stood with just 16-30, AAP with 9-21, and others account for 2-6(exit poll data as per India today). The exit polls are not accurate nor reliable but it is clear that BJP is all set to yet again create a government in the state with more or less a majority.  AAP who just joined the elections is performing the same as congress. Doesn’t that mean AAP is becoming more prevalent than congress in Gujarat state, well this could be answered only after the elections are declared. The next state is Himachal Pradesh with 68 seats in the state legislature, cutthroat competition is seen in the exit poll between BJP and congress. According to India Today’s exit poll, BJP is about to win 24-34 sits while congress going to win between 30-40 and others 4-8.Source:- MintAs mentioned above exit polls are not accurate this may mean that any one of the two major parties could win. It is not conclusive, but one thing is for sure, if interpreting the exit poll, no party could form a clear majority. Does that mean that new state drama like Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh is on its way, you decide that. We will get to know once the results are declared.Gujarat election results will be declared on the 8th of December and so with the Himachal Pradesh election. Till then only interpretation could be made from exit polls Gujarat is showing a clear picture this time, on the other side, Himachal Pradesh is even hard to interpret from exit polls.
