The callback was due to a possible fault in the front-row seat belts.
The cars that were called back were manufactured between November 2 and November 28 of this year.
The replacement of the defective part will be done free of charge, and the customer will get a call from the respective Suzuki dealership.
Earlier this year, in the month of October, Suzuki called back 9925 units of the WagonR and Ignis due to brake issues.
The rules say that the automobile company should generate a public notice regarding the recall of the cars and that proper information should be given to them.
Maruti has taken the ideal step. Now they should focus on immediately fixing the issues and giving them back to the customer.

Maruti Suzuki may also fall short of its target of producing 20 lakh units this fiscal year. According to the company’s senior executive officer, Shashank Shrivastava,

Shrivastava, the senior executive officer, also said that the pending bookings for this year stood at 3.75 lakh units, and they may fall a little short of achieving the target.
