The purpose is missing.

But was this the purpose of the Bharat Jodo Yatra? 
Many political experts were expecting much more from Bharat Jodo Yatra. Some thought Rahul Gandhi and the congress have now understood the wants of the people. The agenda would be to make people know that congress is with you. Connecting with the people, letting them know that yes opposition party knows their needs. Congress know what problems people are facing and they are the only solution to them. And beyond all this, there was hope that Rahul Gandhi understood the need of the hour. And is now actively participating in Indian politics. India needs opposition, India needs it to remain a democracy. BJP is doing good for the people but the opposition must always be there to not let the majority become a dictatorship. When people do not see any other option, they have no other alternative but to let the government know what they want. 
Sadly as many political experts are now concluding this Bharat Jodo Yatra is a failure. This Yatra is having no impact on the image of the Congress party in the minds of the people. They are just enjoying it as entertainment. The results of the Gujarat election, as well as Delhi MCD, show that on the one hand BJP vote shares are increasing and on the other hand AAP has taken Congress vote shares as well. So what good it is doing to party? The answer is unexplainable. Himachal Pradesh is just an exception the anti-incumbency factor played its role and people see no other options as well. The Bharat Jodo Yatra is still not over, the leader of the Congress party could have taken some decisions on how to improve the reach of the Yatra and how to make it catch the eye of the people. Bharat Jodo Yatra is not impacting voters’ minds because people are not understanding its purpose. Is it for political gain? Or is it just a publicity stunt?
