So it is obvious the competition level is at a very high level. Not only the competition that matters just once go through the syllabus of JEE and NEET, ask yourself if is it suitable for a 16-17-year-old student to grasp that much.
To crake a competitive exam it now becomes a necessity to get enrolled in some premier institute that with the expertise of faculty clears competitive exams. Kota is the hub of coaching institutes where lakhs of students enroll in some institute or other with the dream to get into a prestigious college. The college will erase all their problem. The dream colleges have huge campuses, high placement rates, and handsome packages at the end of college life.
Image credit: India mapVery few colleges are there with all such attributes but each student wants that specific college only, the college is so few that I don’t even need to mention them we all know which colleges are mentioned above. No problem in it has a dream to go into college, the problem arises when aspirants consider that if they don’t get into their dream college they will not have any life to live further. Their problems will not be solved, and they will be left behind in case of failure. The golden period of one life is wasted in small rooms preparing for an exam and a teenager whose body is just not suitable for such an amount of stress is constantly dealing with it. Imagine a situation where a 17-year-old boy, when asked about his schedule said that he started to get anxious if he get just an extra hour of sleep. That’s the reason we see news as we heard recently, three students suicide in Kota.  Parents’ expectations, students’ dreams, lack of good college, fear of failure, and sometimes anxiety to deal with because in some cases parents have taken some loan to fund their son/daughter’s studies, this makes student life hell adding more pressure on them. What to talk about solutions because it is also true that students’ future does depend on college ( in some proportion). The problem is very serious and the government has to involve in it to take some actions like one in China where authorities have prohibited after-school private tutoring, citing concerns that children and parents were being put under undue stress. What do you think one at a personal level should do to not take action like suicide?
