While the RJD called it a welcome stem and said Tejaswini was unquestionably Bihar’s future leader, the Bihar government said the CM could never leave without power and that the statement was just another ploy to keep Tejaswini and the RJD guessing.Kumar made the comment at the meeting of the ruling coalition legislatures on the first day of the Bihar assembly’s winter session. The CM also said that he was not in the prime minister’s race and said all opposition parties should come together to defeat the BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. When reporters asked if he indeed meant it when he said Tejaswini would lead the Mahagathbandhan in 2025, Nitish reiterated, Ekadam Karega Karega.
After the meeting, state finance minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary of the Janata Dal told reporters that what the CM said about Tejaswini being the future of Bihar was not surprising; he said this in Nalanda on Monday and Tuesday.Mp. Shiv Nanda Tiwari told the Indian Express, This is precisely what I said at the meeting of the RJD National Council. Now that Nitish Kumar has announced Tejaswi Prasad as the CM candidate, it has given a great deal of clarity to our politics. Tiwari headed Nitin stated three things: he is not running for prime minister, the position should be united, and Tejaswini should lead. All three are interconnected; if RGD and JD workers work together to win a maximum of 40 Lok Sabha seats in Bihar, it can prevent the BJP’s return to power in 2024.RJD national sportsperson Subodh Kumar called Nitish’s announcement a welcome step, while several MLAs of the party said it would further embolden the party.Casting doubts BJP spokesperson Nikhil Anand said the CM statement was just another calculator move. Knowing and seeing Nitish Kumar’s political moves all these years, the statement regarding projecting Tejaswini in 2025 looks like a political flow leader, and Nitish can never leave without power. What are your thoughts on the Mahagathbandan?
