POLITICAL SLUGFEST AMIDST THE HOOCH TRAJEDY, NITISH KUMAR MAKES VAGUE STATEMENTS

The deaths were due to the consumption of spurious alcohol. This incident is reported in the ‘dry state’ since 2016.
The Bihar CM made a controversial remark amid the political slugfest in the state assembly. He said, PEEOGE TO  meaning you will die if you drink.Station House Officer (SHO), Ritesh Mishra, and Constable Vikesh Tiwari were suspended immediately after the tragedy in the Saran district of Bihar.
Bihar’s Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar, said, Those who consume alcohol will die; the example is in front of us.In a controversial prohibition policy, Nitish Kumar’s government banned the consumption and sale of alcohol in the state in 2016.Nitish Kumar urged people not to drink alcohol to ensure their safety. Liquor is bad and shouldnu2019t be consumed.The chief minister said that the government is ready to grant Rs 1 lakh to each individual to start a new business and leave the alcohol business.Nitish Kumar claimed that many people gave up drinking alcohol. But there are some people who are troublemakers.
On Wednesday, this issue was raised by the opposition in the Rajya Sabha.
