Everyone in the BJP, from Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, works tirelessly to serve the people and alter their image and destiny, Nadda said in a speech following the opening of BJP offices in 10 districts of the state’s election-bound Karnataka.
He claimed that the Karnataka Congress was dividing communities and had no understanding of development. The Congress has no understanding of growth. They only know how to get power, wield it for their own ends, and utilise it to make commissions. The Congress is unable to think past this. Is it not the history of this place? asked the BJP president.
Source : Outlook India Nadda claimed that no one else can bear the performance evaluations of Chief Ministers like Basavaraj Bommai and his predecessor B S Yediyurappa (both from the BJP).He asserted that the BJP is the only party operating from 1951u20131952 with a nationalistic ideology. In support of this, he referenced the BJP’s efforts to get Article 370 repealed, the Kashmiri sacrifice of Jan Sangh leader Shyama Prasad Mookerjee, the independence movement in Goa, and protests. This is the Bharat Todo Yatra, not the Bharat Jodo Yatra, which is a march to unite India (Break India march). Nadda referred to the first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru when he said, This is also Prayashchit Yatra (Repentance March) because his (Rahul Gandhi’s) forebears spared no effort to divide India.By adding Article 370 to the Constitution, which grants the rebellious State special status, he accused Nehru of losing Jammu and Kashmir to the rest of India. Modi fixed the error by removing the clause from the Constitution, nevertheless.Nadda claimed that the person who shouted Bharat Tere Tukde Honge Insha Allah was accompanying Rahul Gandhi on his Bharat Jodo Yatra in Karnataka, apparently referring to the former president of the JNU Students’ Union, Kanhaiya Kumar.
