He thereafter, met with PM Narendra Modi on 19th December, 2022 and congratulated him on the fast technological pace picked by India under his leadership hinting towards the Digital India initiative. Pichai in the event strongly supported start-ups, particularly by women. He believes that the best time for a start-up is now and shared that companies like Google were born in the events of downturn. Although the company did not reveal what was discussed in the meeting, Pichai shared in his blog, how he’d discuss about Google funding small businesses, providing skill development training and developing AI technology.Google is also keen on supporting and funding start-ups by women and over the next few years is planning on accelerating the adoption of digital services overseas.Google is also making available text and voice search in over 100 languages, wrote Pichai in his blog.
