It is a small island in the Pacific area that was shook by the massive earthquake that was measured at 7.0 on the Richter scale. The centre of the earthquake was 23 km away from Port Olry, and the quake was 27 km deep.
A warning has been issued for a potential tsunami in the area. No immediate threats or deaths have been reported.
