Source : ANIThe 17-year old Sikh youth Taren Singh Lal was driving home in a Tesla and it was raining heavily. Reportedly the young man lost control of his vehicle and it veered off the Fraser Highway in Langley, British Columbia on January 7th.He was talking to his mother shortly before the crash, reported the mother, Sarabjeet Narana Lal. They were talking on the phone and then she went for a shower, next thing she knew, her husband was talking on the phone about the condition of the car, she told reporters. Global News Canada news station reported that the impact of the crash was so much that it flattened a fence and toppled a tree.The family was devastated and a fundraiser has been set up called GoFundMe to help the family bear the funeral costs of their son. The fundraiser website described Taren as ‘loving son, protective older brother, unforgettable friend, and a beloved role model to those around him.’
