Tamanna finished in 12.16 seconds, while Jayara’s time of 10.53 seconds would have been a national youth record if not for the wind. Ankur Bhattacharjee of West Bengal won another gold medal in table tennis after winning the under-19 boys title in Surat. In the youth boys final, he defeated Uttar Pradesh’s Divyansh Srivastava (11-3, 11-8, 11-8, 8-11, 11-4).
    Despite a tie with Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra won the overall TT championship, with West Bengal finishing second. Because of Ankur’s gold, the former received a unanimous vote from the jury.

    Rajasthan’s Rampal Choudhary won gold in the Archery recurve competitions, defeating West Bengal’s Juyel Sarkar 6-2 in the final. Haryana’s Ridhi won the girls recurve with a 6-2 victory over statemate Bhajan Kaur. In fact, Haryana won 1-2-3, with Tisha Punia taking bronze.
    In the Compound Archery events, Haryana’s Kushal Dalal won gold with a 147-141 victory over Andhra’s TG Mani Ratnam in the boys final, while Maharashtra’s Aditi Gopichand Swami won gold with a 146-145 victory over Rajasthan’s Priya Gurjar in the girls final.
