The price hike was done due to an increase in the overall cost of operation and production of milk. The cattle feeding cost alone has increased to approximately 20 per cent, Amul had said.
    In October, the GCMMF had last hiked the prices of Amul Gold (full cream) and buffalo milk by u20b92 per litre each across all markets except for Gujarat.Following Amulu2019s decision, Mother Dairy had also announced an increase in prices of full-cream milk and cow milk by u20b92 per litre in Delhi-NCR and some other markets in North India with effect from October 16 .
