7th #OperationDost flight reached Syria with over 23 tons of relief material, including gensets, solar lamps, emergency & critical care medicines, & disaster relief consumables. Received at Damascus airport by Deputy Minister of Local Administration and Environment Moutaz Douaji, tweeted Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Arindam Bagchi.
    The IAF plane carrying emergency and critical care medications, medical supplies, and supplies for relief efforts will land in Syria, discharge its cargo, and then fly to Turkey. S Jaishankar, the minister of external affairs, also discussed the flight leaving from Ghaziabad on his Twitter account.He tweeted, The 7th #OperationDost flight departs for Syria and Turkiye. Flight is carrying relief material, medical aid, emergency & critical care medicines, medical equipment & consumables.

    The Indian Army also tweeted, An #IAF C-17 aircraft got airborne last night for #Syria and #Turkiye, bearing relief material and emergency equipment. As stated by the Ministry of External Affairs, Syria and Turkey received supplies and equipment for earthquake relief. The aeroplane is in route to Damascus, where it will drop off supplies before continuing on to Adana.
    The flight is carrying more than 35 tonnes of humanitarian supplies, of which over 23 tonnes are going to Syria and about 12 tonnes are going to Turkey, according to the Ministry of External Affairs. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, the aid being supplied to Syria consists of relief supplies, sleeping mats, generators, solar lamps, tarpaulins, blankets, emergency and critical care medications, and consumables for disaster relief.
    The material being sent to Turkey consists of team supplies for the Army field hospital and NDRF, medical equipment such as ECG, patient monitor, anaesthesia machine, syringe pumps, glucometer, blankets and other relief materials. The IAF planes were being loaded with critical care medications, medical supplies, equipment, and relief supplies earlier in the day.
    A massive earthquake struck Turkey and Syria on February 6, 2023. 28,192 people had died as a result of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria as of Saturday (local time), according to CNN. In response to the terrible earthquakes and aftershocks that struck the area, India initiated Operation Dost to provide aid to Turkey and Syria. Under ‘Operation Dost’, India is sending a massive amount of humanitarian aid to Turkey and Syria.
