Nagal won his first ATP Challenger title at this tournament in 2017 and has since had a prosperous career. In his previous two appearances at this tournament, in 2018 and 2020, he reached the quarterfinals and pre-quarterfinals, respectively.

Nagal will compete in a crowded singles field that includes former World No. 10 Lucas Pouille and last year’s champion Chun-hsin Tseng.The Bengaluru Open has also signed a three-year agreement with leading sports news and analysis portal DafaNews, which will see DafaNews promote the growth of the sport in the city and across the country.
The qualifiers will be held on February 19 and 20, with the main draw beginning on February 20.
