Babar has had a difficult time as a cricketer, having lost two Test series at home to England and Australia. His home crowd recently mocked him when a section of fans in Multan began chanting ‘Zimbabar’ and ‘Gha*te ka king’ during a Test match against England.
Babar hit a ball that bounced back in and shattered on his stumps. As the Pakistani captain made his way back to the pavilion, the Multan crowd mocked him with derogatory chants.
Babar will be eager to get some runs under his belt in conditions similar to those he will face in India later this year when his team travels for the ODI World Cup.
