And now he’s admitted that he wants to take a break from acting for the first time in his career. At an occasion in Delhi on Monday, Aamir Khan, sporting grey hair and a beard, discussed his forthcoming creation and why he desires to take a break from acting. When I’m doing a film as an actor, I get so lost in it that nothing else happens in my life, he explained. I was intended to do a film called Champions after Laal Singh Chaddha. It’s a heartwarming and lovely film with a wonderful script and a beautiful story. But I feel the need to take a break and spend time with my family, especially my mother and children.\I feel like I’ve been working for 35 years and I’ve been single-mindedly focused on my work, he added. It doesn’t seem fair to me or those close to me. This is the time when I feel I need to take some time off to be with them and actually live life. I’m looking forward to the next year and a half of not working as an actor.The Lagaan actor clarified that his upcoming film ‘Champion’ will be completed on time. I’ll be working as a producer, so I’ll be producing Champions, he explained. I’ll be approaching other actors now to fill the role I’d like to play. Hopefully, that goes well. I’m at the stage in life where I’d like to enjoy my relationships right now.
