There is pronounced complacency over the risks of escalation a year after the invasion.     NATO tailored its military assistance to accomplish these goals. One year later, there seems to be increasing assurance that it is possible to maintain this delicate balance between backing Ukraine and directly challenging Russia. But the line might be subjective, just like with any security risks. One should not take this accomplishment for granted.
