Former Australia cricketers and their media outlets have leveled numerous baseless allegations against the hosts, ranging from accusing Rahul Dravid and others of doctoring the pitch to raising concerns about ball-tracking technology.
Instead of analysing why their team performed so poorly on a surface where Indians scored 400 runs, they are busy vilifying India. They launch a new rant against the Indian team management every day. Their most recent rant came a day after the Nagpur Test ended.
Former Australia wicket-keeper Ian Healy has slammed the VCA officials for watering the pitches shortly after the match ended, denying the visitors the opportunity to practise on the used surface ahead of the second Test in Delhi.
After being humiliated in their previous match, the Australians asked the officials if they could practise on the Nagpur pitch, but the ground staff watered it after the game. Following the latest move by the Indian cricket board, the Australian media has gone on another rant against the hosts.
The BCCI has changed the location of the third Test from Dharamshala to Indore. Following a thorough inspection, board officials determined that the outfield lacks sufficient grass density and is not ready to host an international match of such magnitude.
The BCCI explained the reason for the match’s relocation to Indore in a press release. Due to the region’s harsh winter conditions, the outfield lacks sufficient grass density and will require some time to develop fully, the BCCI stated in a media release.
The decision was not made hastily with ulterior motives in mind, but rather to ensure the safety and well-being of players from both teams. Instead of thanking the BCCI for prioritising the players’ safety, the Australian media whined like a ‘cry baby’.

According to Fox Cricket, the move is another blow to Pat Cummins and his team. According to the leading Australian media outlet, Dharamshala was the only venue that was best suited to fast bowling due to its true pace and bounce.
The fact that Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has an unblemished record in Indore irritated the Australian media the most. The veteran spinner has 18 wickets at an astonishing average of 12.50 in two Test matches.
The Australian media portrays the new venue as having been chosen with the home team’s strengths in mind.
